One of my most stolen photos ever. Believe it or not.
Tangier, Morocco.

At this point I’ve seen this image reposted more times than I’ve seen the actual city itself. Travel pages, “aesthetic” accounts, fake photographers, AI-generated quote pages, mysterious Pinterest boards from another dimension… the whole circus.

This frame was taken during one of those quiet dusk moments when everything suddenly aligned for a few seconds: the pink sky, the first lights switching on, the layered geometry of the medina.

The version uploaded by the person who was actually there, camera in hand, chasing the light over the rooftops of Tangier.
